Muv-Luv
Muv-Luv is a Japanese visual novel originally released as an adult game and the first game in the Muv-Luv franchise. Subsequent releases of the games were with the adult content removed. The game consists of two parts: Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited, which is unlocked after completing the two main heroine routes in Extra. The gameplay in Muv-Luv follows a linear plot line, which offers pre-determined scenarios and courses of interaction, and focuses on the differing scenarios of the female main characters. In 2015, the game, alongside Muv-Luv Alternative, photonflowers*, and photonmelodies♮, was fully funded for an English release on Kickstarter, for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation Vita, and mobile platforms.
If My Heart Had Wings
The story of the game is set in Kazegaura, a suburb in Japan, just outside of Tokyo. The main characters in this story are students at the “Keifu Academy”, a technical school, also known as a “specialized vocational high school”. The protagonist of the game, Aoi Minase, is a young boy who lost his dream in a bicycle racing accident and subsequently returns to his hometown. There, he meets Kotori Habane, a young girl stuck with a wheelchair with a flat tire, on a hill with windmills. They then spot large, white wings traversing the sky over the hills- a glider. Both had yet to realize that everything would begin from this. Working together with Aoi’s childhood friend Ageha Himegi, they begin rebuilding the Soaring Club, which was just about to be disbanded. In order to realise the dream everyone has as a child- “I want to soar up to the great sky and fly”, these beginners take hold of their passion, overcoming failures and obstacles from the school to put their all into building a glider. They strive to fly through the “morning glory”, a special weather phenomenon that enables a special type of roll-shaped cloud that appears in the morning when the conditions are just right.

Toono Sayo is a beautiful girl that lives with her older brother, Toono Touya, who is an author. Her brother tells her about his next story: ‘Shinigami to Shoujo’. He explains that it will be about a lonely shinigami and a girl, and their search for the most beautiful word that exists. One day, when Sayo looked up at a clock tower that has long ceased to move, she met a man wearing strange white clothes. When she asked him who he is and why he is wearing such weird clothes, he told her that he has no memory of his identity and that the only thing he knows is that he is a shinigami. Sayo suggests that if he does not know his name, she'll give him one and named him ‘Ao’ (blue) after how similar the man’s eyes are to the colour of the sky.
