Storyline
Once Hong Meiling finished cleaning the library of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, she asked permission of Patchouli Knowledge if she can borrow a book. Meanwhile, Yukari Yakumo appears and takes Meiling onto a training course, fighting various residences of Gensoukyou.

Touhou Hisouten: Scarlet Weather Rhapsody
A bizarre phenomenon is occurring in Gensokyo. In the middle of summer, untimely rain and hail fall in the Forest of Magic, snow blankets Hakugyokurou, the Scarlet Devil Mansion is enveloped in a cloudy, dense haze, and the Hakurei Shrine is leveled by a sudden earthquake. Throughout the game, Reimu and the other protagonists set out to investigate the source of the strange occurrences. Tenshi Hinanawi is a celestial. Finding her newfound life in Heaven boring and monotonous, she enviously saw the youkai of Gensokyo stirring many incidents from above. Wielding the power to control the earth and the divine Sword of Hisou, the jaded celestial decides to instigate a catastrophe of her own.

Touhou Daiundousai
It was autumn. Suddenly, a "Sports Day" was held at Hakurei Shrine. The event attracted many participants, and after a fierce and heated battle between humans and youkais, the event ended with Reimu Hakurei and her friends as the winners. Sanae, who had been defeated by the Hakurei priestesses in spite of her bullish comments before the event, decided to take her own chance to make up for the loss. The "Festival," a lively ritual involving the gods. The time is spring. The winds of "Sports Festival," not "Sports Day," are blowing.
Genso Yonbaiken: Tenshi no Daigyakushu
Beyond the sky, there was a woman who had nothing better to do with her time than to be bored. Once, at the behest of his desires, he drove a shrine to destruction. Her name was Hinanai Tenshi. And now, Tenshi was once again depicting Gensokyo in her eyes. Gensokyo was in serious trouble because of Hinanai Tenshi. Tenshi had used a mysterious radio wave to turn one youkai after another into puppets. But here was a heroine who, with an indomitable spirit, had broken Tenshi's rule. She rose to her feet. To restore peace to Gensokyo once again.
Mystical Chain
Somewhere in Gensokyo, there is a grimoire called "The Book of Renkan." I don't know the details, but it is rumored that "whoever possesses it will receive ancient wisdom." It is also said that the book "resonates with powerful magical and mystical forces and appears on the spot by itself." This would mean that the book is likely to be in the hands of a powerful youkai. If that is the case, the story is simple. In short, we should challenge all the powerful youkai to a fight and defeat them all. If we go on a rampage, it may be easier to find the book we are looking for. Two birds with one stone. Two wizards bumped into each other. They were thinking the same thing. Let's form a united front here! --Let's make a joint front!

Gensoukyou is connected with 'a certain world' and eventually a huge dungeon by the name of 'Mazes of the Week' appears. The mansion that protagonist Remilia was living in is trapped within this dungeon. Cooperating with companions, Remilia and co. end up having to clear that dungeon.
